Chili

Brown 1 lb ground beef, drain then put in crock pot (I'm trying to remember if I season the beef... I usually always season with garlic and onion powder, so lets go with that)
3 or 4 cans of beans (kidney, red, pinto, etc.) I usually use one of each, but you can use all one kind
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can of corn
1 pkg of McCormick Chili seasoning
You could add all other kinds of yummy things if you would like, but this works for us.
As with the taco soup we add sour cream and cheese when we serve it up.
A great side is corn bread in a cast iron skillet, so rustic and so yummy.

I will have to let you know though, there is a Farmer's market that we go to down here and I bought a can of chili mix that is "homemade". It smells amazing!!
